Here’s my absolute best piece of advice. The most profound insight I have for YOU. Possibly the most significant self-motivating tip you will hear.
You don’t need me or anybody else. YOU – Already – Got – This!
You already have the inner-strength! The wisdom! The capability!
It’s ok to be knocked down by your doubt and fear and stress. COVID-19 is bringing a hail-storm of these feelings.
We all have voices of limiting self-beliefs. It’s to be expected. It’s okay.
And yet, we all rise…sooner or later…to face those fears. Stare them down. Confront them.
When we realize they are weak and mean little lies…we SHRED them!
Don’t be afraid my friend. You are stronger than you think. Wiser than you know. And always surrounded by people like me, who you’ve maybe never met, but care and love you.
Relentlessly move forward…believe in you and then reach out to those around you…and believe in them.
I’m counting on you. I don’t want to hear about one more suicide. You are not alone.
We got this!
Please send this message to those you feel could benefit from hearing from you. A friendly note can be a prevention of depression and suicide. Thank you for caring about being the best YOU and caring about helping others.
These horses and singing birds stopped me in my tracks today. Before seeing them, I was in my own little rollercoaster world due to COVID-19. They caught my attention and helped me realize I was focused on my stress and fear. I was grateful for the reminder so captured this video and as it turns out, I thought about them the rest of my run. Here’s what they helped me realize.
Being in social isolation, it’s easy to feel alone…even if you are with others. Feeling alone, we can feel scared and unsafe, especially for someone who’s been through any kind of past trauma.
* First step is recognizing the subconscious connection of feeling alone triggering feelings of stress and fear. THINK.
* Second step is consciously re-thinking and saying to ourselves “Being alone builds my inner-strength. I am safe.” SAY.
* Third step is being in nature’s sanctuary and exercising. For me, elevating my heart during trail running works out my stress, reminds me of my personal power, and that there is always goodness to be found in the world. DO.
What steps will you Think, Say, Do today…for betterment of yourself and those you lead?
What additional support in pro-actively facing stress, fear and uncertainty?

As another weekend approaches, I find myself struggling during this time of COVID-19 isolation. I know others are too.
It can feel so damn discouraging.
So hopelessly out of our control.
I found this video and it felt helpful to me. I hope it is for you too. It’s short. It’s worth the watch.
Whatever you’re feeling…it’s okay. It’s to be expected.
Please know you aren’t alone…I care about you.
I find taking the inward focus off of my concerns and worries actually helps lower my stress by focusing on how I can be of help and kindness to others. Maybe you’ll want to try reaching out once a day to one new person in your network or community …
A single person who works and lives alone and might be getting big-time cabin fever.
Families who are smothering each other with 24/7 contact.
First Responders & Medical who are our brave front-line and yet scared for their own health.
An elderly or immune compromised neighbor.
A small business owner who’s facing losing their dream of being self-employed and bigger fear of financially hurting the staff they have grown to love as family.
A friend who fights anxiety, depression or suicidal thoughts.
A co-worker who’s always strong for everyone else and weak at self-care.
By reaching out to others we build bridges of connection. Relationships of real meaning. With those…we are never alone. There is love. And where there is love…there is hope.
Timothy “Chachi” Pachasa is that kind of guy! He makes you want to learn more! Not only is his U.S. Air Force call sign of “Chachi” intriguing… but so is he! Trust me, he’s the real-deal…stellar military career, brave family man, unstoppable life-zest and leading others with a serving heart!
In addition to being a leadership leader, business adviser and CAPE innovator, he’s also a podcast host. Today you can hear our chat about those positive characteristics and how to lower stress, especially during COVID-19. Listen in and you’ll see why I admire his CAPE work!
Please share your insights and comments. We all learn from each other and are more united by sharing….even in this time of isolation and physical-distancing.
